Being influenced by West Coast veterans such as Ice Cube, Eazy E and Cypress Hill, rapper B.C. (Been Cold) is making every effort possible to ensure that the music which he grew up on continues to live on. B.C. is Phoenix, AZ’s latest rapper on the rise and the newest artist signed to The Zone Entertainment, who also handle fellow Arizona emcee Burnz. Dubcnn previously featured Burnz about a year ago with the song “Clap Back” featuring Crooked I, from his album “Talent 2 Burn”.

B.C.’s gangsta rap roots will easily be noticed on his debut mixtape “Menace II The Industry” hosted by Cali Untouchable DJs own September 7th. He also teamed up with director Marz of Marzmotion for a video of the mixtape’s first single. The song called “Kill a Man” is a dedicated remake to the Cypress Hill classic “How I Could Just Kill a Man.”
