On Wednesday, November 10, many of Arizona’s finest hip hop acts will gather at the Goat Head Saloon to help welcome special guest Spitsofrantic from Utah. To say “Welcome to Arizona” will showcase a diverse lineup of acts would be quite an understatement. Scheduled performers include Phoenix Hip Hop heavyweight Mav from the Sol Camp, Hooligan Movement, MC Pennywise, Jaebone, Greggulator, Canyon Animals, Segin Brown and Yung Rich. Most every flavor of Hip Hop will be on display, which will make for an interesting evening.

Online promotion will be heavy with thousands of Facebook invites and tweets, along with the 15,000+ unique views that Phoenixhiphop.net enjoys each month. There will also be exposure in publications like The New Times, posters around town and thousands of fliers. There will be an emphasis on targeting the college student demographic in order to help the Arizona music scene attract a broader audience.

“Welcome to Arizona” is part of a three city swing called the “Foot in the Door” tour which will feature Spitsofrantic and Arizona artists Voice, Big Moeses and Yung Nutt from L Burner Records. The mini tour will start in Salt Lake City on the 6th at Batter’s Up and end up in Los Angeles at the Airliner on the 12th.

The Goat Head Saloon is fully equipped with good sound, a cool stage, open space and now the grill is fully operational! They’re conveniently located on Country Club just north of the 60 in the plaza shared by Club Tattoo and Trails.
