The SCMC Music Conference will be in Phoenix, Arizona on Sat. January 14, 2012. As a representative for the Phoenix conference I would like to personally extend this opportunity for you to further your career in the music industry and realize your dream by presenting you with a chance to get signed by a major label.

This event is open to ALL Bands, Singers, Songwriters, Producers, Artists, Musicians, Djs, Management, and Indie labels.

The SCMC Music Conference has had many successful events in the past, selling out venues from Los Angeles, California all the way to Washington DC. Attendees have traveled from all over the globe for their chance to impress and network with major label A&Rs and representatives brought into the event. Major labels at this conference include and are not restricted to: ATLANTIC, UNIVERSAL, JIVE, SONY BMG, DEF JAM, G-UNIT, INTERSCOPE, KONVICT, DTP, 15 SECONDS MUSIC GROUP, and LISA DAVIS MUSIC MANAGEMENT.

Attendees are given various avenues at the event to market themselves and their music.

Artists are able to perform in front of major label representatives as well as other musicians attending the event. The benefit of performing live exposes your craft to others in attendance. Networking at the event is strongly encouraged, as it leads to possible collaborations and business relationships.

Another option for performers is a one on one sit down with one of the label A&Rs. Musicians are able to play multiple tracks for the representative, presenting a greater variety of their talent. This gives the artist a more intimate experience with a label representative and more direct feedback on their work.

The Phoenix event is unique in that this will be the first time the SCMC will be having a producer battle. This is a huge opportunity to attain placements by the major label representatives, as well as with other musicians in attendance.

The event is public. We are offering “early bird” specials to those purchasing their tickets in advance as well as a “college students only” rate.

The Conference will be held at the Phoenix Airport Marriott located at 1101 North 44th Street, Phoenix, Arizona. The event starts promptly at 8am and ends about 7pm, but feel free to leave whenever you may choose. Make sure you at there by 8am to check in for your performance time.
