D-Roc_TheBoogieWord is there is a track on deck that has D-Roc of the Ying-Yang Twins, K-Dolla a up and coming Atlanta based rapper/producer along with MAV (of Sol Camp) and The new dude on the Phoenix scene Kid Cardinal.  MAV and Kid Cardinal have already been seen performing together so it was a matter of time before they did a track and it is coming “The Boogie”.  I have heard the almost finished copy and it is sure to get the clubs and  the strip clubs poppin and bouncin, doing the boogie.

MAVThe Track was put together and produced by AKT Aktion one our town’s top producers a Cleveland transplant who is quoted as saying “Phoenix is my home, I have lived many places but I plan to rep Phoenix to the fullest”.   I spoke with Aktion and he said it should be ready for the masses no later then April on His LP “In My World”.  Be on the look out for this trio as Aktion produced a 3rd of Kid Cardinal’s mixtape “Spit” and MAVs new joint “Independent hustlin“.

Aktion Workin On “The Boogie” Letting the Haters know what’s good

Aktion

MAV and Aktion also hooked up for the street banger “Quick Money” released last year featuring west coast legends KAM and MC Eiht.  Aktion also exclaimed in our conversation while rolling a blunt “I don’t pay for these features man, I either trade beats, or cats just dig the joint so much they jump on it, right then, right thurr” . Either way this will be one of the many PHX hip hop singles to hit the radio waves this year, let’s make 2010 the rise of the Phoenix and with these kind of relationships building with Phoenix and other cities it is becoming inevitable.
